Patrick J. Mcmurtagh

Patrick J. McMurtagh 57, Rothschild died Thursday, February 4, 2010 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at his home. He was born August 24, 1952 in Wauwatosa, son of Henry McMurtagh and the late Lucille (Goebl) McMurtagh. On March 23, 2007 he married Anna Ewenko in Wausau. She survives. For more than 31 years Patrick was a sales representative for Walters Meier Inc. Patrick enjoyed his life to the fullest. And forever the optimist, he always considered his glass half full. His only regret was leaving his companion and wife of over 25 years, Anna behind. Survivors include his wife, Anna McMurtagh, Rothschild, his father, Joseph McMurtagh, Wauwatosa, one brother, Brian (Teri) McMurtagh, Brown Deer, one sister, Marie (Tom) Plantz, Stockridge, Georgia and five nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family; Tatiana Ewenko, mother-in-law; Peter (Terri) Ewenko, brother-in-law; Eleanor (Trygve) Larsen; sister-in-law; Joe Such, brother-in-law; Kevin and Shaun McMurtagh, cousins; and his many friends. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist, 330 McClellan Street, Wausau. The Rev. David Klutterman will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
