Patrick “Pat” Karlen, 65, Town of Cassel passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at his home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
