Patrick T. Geier

January 25, 1938 — February 26, 2007

Patrick T. Geier 69, Minoqua, formerly of Wausau, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007, at the UW Hospital, Madison. He was born January 25, 1938, in Schofield, son of the late Cliff and Helen (Richie) Geier. On April 26, 1958, he married Mary R. McDonald in Wausau. She preceded him in death December 3, 1978. Pat retired from Wausau Papers in 1998 after 38 years of service. He enjoyed retirement in the northwoods. He especially loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his four children, Linda (Paul) Pease, Tampa, Fla., Mark (Karen) Geier, Minocqua, Dawn (Allen) Hill, Neenah, Terry (Ann) Geier, Weston, three brothers, Richard Geier, Rothschild, Jim Geier, Hatley, Ron (Jody) Geier, Hatley, many grandchildren, geat grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Randall Geier. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday March 1, 2007 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Deacon Robert Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
