Patrick W. Dennison

Patrick W. Dennison, 43, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Opportunity Inc. in Wausau. He was born August 25, 1972 in Wausau, son of Ginger (Hollman) Dennison and son of Wayne Dennison. Patrick enjoyed watching softball games at Kelly Club, taking walks with friends, driving tractor and backhoe with his uncle Lenny and playing cribbage and sheepshead with his buddies, Dave Schneck, Joe Piette, Jim DeJong, Bill Trantow and Brian Schneck. He was an excellent cribbage player and competed in many cribbage tournaments throughout the years. Patrick loved country music especially John Denver and the Judds. He went to see Naomi Judd at the Wisconsin Valley Fair and was excited when she came off stage to give him a hug and kiss. Going to church was also something Patrick enjoyed and he was grateful to Dave Hussong for recording the services for him when he could no longer attend. Survivors include his mother, Ginger Dennison; sister, Stacey (RJ) Bast; special friend, Dave Schneck; father, Wayne Dennison; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by all his grandparents. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, E7195 Star Road, Aniwa. Rev. Raymond Connor and Rev. Ryan Fehrmann will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
