Patricia "Pat" Jane (Peroutka) Raatz

Patricia “Pat” J. Raatz, 71, Wausau, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born November 7, 1952 in Wausau, daughter of the late Harold and Kathrine (Ament) Peroutka.  In 1973, she married Daniel “Rosco” Raatz at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau.  He preceded her in death on May 7, 2022.

Pat enjoyed reading, scrolling through facebook, her two cats and watching the birds at her home.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her two children, Michelle (Shane Cichon) Raatz and Ryan (Sammy Blazei) Raatz; and her granddaughter, Cali Raatz.

Besides her parents and husband, Daniel, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Billy Peroutka and Sandy Hrebik.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.  Deacon Ervin Burkhardt will officiate.  Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for the wonderful care and support given to Pat and her family.
