Patricia Joan Wiesman

Patricia J. Wiesman, 77, 3645 Evergreen Road, Marathon, died Sunday, January 5, 2003 at her home. Patricia was born January 4, 1926, in Idaho, daughter of the late Margaret McChesney and the late Levi McChesney. She married Walter Wiesman on October 9, 1954 in Wausau. He survives. Patricia was a registered nurse. She was a member of the Wausau Boot and Saddle Cub where she met her husband, Walter. Besides horseback riding, she loved to spend time in her flower gardens. She was a devoted grandmother and a devout catholic. Besides her husband, Walter Wiesman, Marathon, she is survived by three daughters, Michelle (Dave) Trainor, Delta Junction, Alaska, Mary (Todd) Belter, Stratford, Theresa (Jeff) Schneider, McAlester, Oklahoma; two sons, John (Virginie) Wiesman, Waunakee, Kenneth (Jenny) Wiesman, Wahiawa, Hawaii; one daughter-in-law, Susanne Wiesman, Marathon; 19 grandchildren; one sister, Sharon McChesney, LaCrosse; other family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Wiesman and one brother, Jack McChesney. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2003 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and again from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Marathon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the St. Mary Catholic School, Marathon.
