Patricia A. Seubert

Patricia A. Seubert, 93, of Marathon, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her home. She was born to the late Alois and Esther (Dehlinger) Seubert in Wausau on January 3, 1933.

Patricia grew up in Marathon and graduated from Marathon High School. After completing school, she began her job with Wisconsin Public Service in Wausau. She would walk five blocks from her home to take the train to get to work in Wausau. After many years of dedicated service, she retired in 1995. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, crafts, baking, playing cards, and volunteering at St. Mary’s. Over the years she was also an avid bowler and would travel nationally for tournaments and tours as a part of the National Women’s Bowling Association. She loved the socializing and the friends that she made when bowling and playing cards.

Survivors include many cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sr. Charlotte Seubert, FSPA.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon, with Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier presiding. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at the church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
