Patricia R. Sala

Patricia R. Sala, 72, 207 S. Fifth Avenue, Wausau, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born December 16, 1931 in Wausau, daughter of the late John and Frances (Kumbera) Bretl. On February 11, 1956 she married Lloyd Sala in Wausau. He survives. Pat was a big fan of Wausau West High School and the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors besides her husband Lloyd Sala, Wausau include one daughter, Mary Sala, Wausau; three sons, James (Paulene) Sala, Athens, Kenneth (Denise) Sala, Wausau, Mark (LaTonya) Sala, Edgar; seven grandchildren, Tracy and Ashley Sala, Whitney Lukasko, Travis and Jamie Hummel, Cale and Adam Sala; three sisters, Clara Tarnowski, Eleanor Bretl, and Marie Plato, all of Milwaukee; two brothers, William (JoAnn) Bretl, Wausau, Donald Bretl, Schofield; three sister-in-laws, Mona Bretl, Wausau, Carol (Jerry) Mattison, Brookfield and Rosemarie Sala, Milwaukee; her dear friend Debbrah Hackbarth and a special pet Isaac. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2003 at Grace United Church of Christ, Wausau. Rev. James Laak will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
