It is with heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patricia “Pat” Agnes Rust, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and adored great-grandmother. She peacefully departed on March 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love for her family to cherish.
Born on October 1, 1940, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Jean Sullivan, Patricia was blessed with parental love and the companionship of her dear brother, Michael Sullivan. Raised in Wisconsin, she embraced the values of family bonds and life's simple joys.
On September 11, 1965, Patricia married her beloved Richard “Dick” at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, commencing a love-filled journey spanning nearly six decades.
Patricia initially served as a Registered Nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire before dedicating herself to nurturing her three daughters, Julie, Lori, and Cathy, with endless love, patience, and support.
Her warmth and wisdom touched the lives of her five grandchildren: Jordan, Jacob, Emily, Ben, and Sam and two great-grandchildren Harper and Anna, creating cherished memories of love and laughter.
Although Patricia has bid farewell to this world, her spirit lives on in the generations she shaped and the love she shared. She remains in our hearts and is survived by her husband, Richard, her children: Julie (John) Rathke, Lori (Thomas) Kneer, Cathy (Michael) McClellan, her grandchildren & great-grandchildren: Jordan Rathke, Jacob (Riley) Rathke, Emily (Garrett) Lee, Ben Kneer, Sam Kneer, Harper Lee, and Anna Lee, nieces Nancy Anderson, Patti Nowak, Michelle Sullivan, Kelli Sullivan, Casey Sullivan and nephew Joe Sullivan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jean Sullivan, her father in law and mother in law Donald and Marion Rust, brother Michael Sullivan, sister-in-law Mary Lou Nowak, brother-in-law Hugh Nowak, nephews Steve and Mike Nowak and son-in-law Kevin Kinnick.
