Patricia Ann Mathiesen

Patricia Ann Mathiesen 77, Maple Plain, MN, died Saturday June 21, 2003 at her home. She was born February 18, 1926 in Edgar, daughter of the late Peter and Cecelia (Plansky) Mathiesen. Patricia was a Music and Education graduate of St. Scholastica College and had been a nun of the Order of St. Benedict. In her later years, she had been employed with Gleason Printing in Minneapolis. She enjoyed music in general, especially playing the piano and also was involved in musical productions. NFL Football was a favorite pasttime and she was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Survivors include one sister, Gladys Gering, Wausau, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Sat. at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Burial will be in the Edgar Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangments.
