Patricia M. Kolbeck

Patricia M. Kolbeck 92, Wausau, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Wausau Manor Nursing Home. She was born November 3, 1914 in Antigo, daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Byrne) Schmeisser. Patricia attended St. John's School and graduated from Antigo High School in 1931. She then entered and graduated from Holy Family School of Nursing in Manitowoc as a registered nurse in 1936. She was employed as a private duty nurse for several years and then as an occupational health nurse at Manitowoc Ship Building. In 1952 she was united in marriage to Francis Kolbeck in Manitowoc. In 1970 the family moved to Sturgeon Bay where she worked at Sturgeon Bay Memorial Hospital and the Dorchester Nursing Center until her retirement. Patricia was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Survivors include her sons James Kolbeck, Manitowoc, Andrew (Berni) Kolbeck, Boulder, Colorado, her daughters, Kathleen (Gary) Vogel, Minneapolis, Elizabeth (Dr. Richard) Hopf, Portola Valley, California and Mary Hogue, Wausau, her grandchildren, Tricia Kolbeck, Kit and Kari Kiefer, Andrew, Eric and Sarah Hogue, Brittney Hagenbart and Brianne Roycraft, one great grandson, Nicholas Kolbeck and one great granddaughter, Brynn Hagenbart. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1996, three sisters and one brother. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be in Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Friends may call on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
