Patricia A. Hrobsky

Patricia A. Hrobsky, 78, Athens, died Saturday November 21, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born August 29, 1937 in Galloway, daughter of the late Bruno and Grace (Cannady) Vetter. On September 15, 1956, she married Daniel E. Hrobsky at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. He preceded her in death March 11, 2011. Patricia was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, flower gardening traveling, camping and watching her birds. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Mar-Lin Post No. 10203 Auxiliary. Survivors include five children, David (Linda) Hrobsky, Elizabeth Franks, Catherine (Scott) Huber, all of Wausau, Jeremy (Karolee) Hrobsky, Neenah, Judith (Brad) Champine, Appleton, five grandchildren, Tiffany, Amber, Eric, Mary and Charley; five step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, Michael, Draeven, Matthew, Dezaray, Miranda, Alexis and Danevin; two step-great-granddaughters; siblings, Don (Rose Marie) Vetter, Calif., Sara (Jon) Schroeder, Edgar, Jim (Anna Mae) Vetter, Minn., Tom (Anne) Vetter, Marathon, Sue (Al) Lepak, Wausau, Lynne (Norm) Hornung, Marathon, along with many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth, three siblings, Everette Vetter, Judy Hutchins and Ruth Stencil. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 24, 2015 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
