Pat L. Zemke

Pat L. Zemke 45, 5501 Rib Mountain Drive, Wausau, died Tuesday November 18, 2003 in Portage County. He was born September 14, 1958 in Wausau, son of Clifford Zemke, Wausau and the late Isabelle (Meyer) Zemke. On May 2, 1981 he married Anna Nielsen in Wausau. She survives. For the past 19 years, Pat had been employed at Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork, most of that time as a truck driver. Special to him was the time spent fishing and hunting with his sons and daughter and rummage saling with his dad. Survivors besides his wife, Anna Zemke and father, Clifford Zemke, include two sons, Matthew (Emily Nowak) Zemke, Travis Zemke, both at home, a daughter, Heather Zemke, at home, a granddaughter, Sierra Penrose, at home, three brothers, Gary (Toni) Zemke, Larry Zemke, Guy Zemke, all of Wausau, one sister, LaVonne (Mike) Kannenberg, Wausau, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ken and Mary Ann Nielsen, Wausau, a brother-in-law, Greg (Cindy) Nielsen, Mosinee and a sister-in-law, Kelly (Paul) Hammerla, Woodruff, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday November 21, 2003 at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. Rev. Thomas Hoelter will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Ave., Wausau and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
