Pang Ge Thao 69, Wausau, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 in Mpls. He was a Captain/Commander in the US Army receiving the Purple Heart. Pang Ge Thao was the first to open an office serving the Hmong community with the Mayor in Wausau. Survivors include his wife, May Chou Chang; eight sons, Pao, Pang, Per, Johnathan, Paul, Mark, David & Steven; two daughters, Pang Foua & Daisy; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Chang Vang Thao; six sisters, Sai Thao, Lue Thao, Shoua Thao, May Thao, Mai Thao & Mee Thao. The services will be Monday, February 27, 2006 at the First Hmong Missionary Alliance Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Berlin. Visitation will be for 9:00 a.m. to Midnight Friday, Saturday & Sunday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and on Monday for 9:00 a.m. until the services at the church.
