Pamela A. Knudsen, age 64, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born December 27, 1948 in Wausau, daughter of the late Gerald and Meta (Erdman) Glasel. On August 2, 1975 she married Thomas Knudsen in Wausau. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1994.
Pam was a lover of all things outdoors; hunting in younger years, fishing whenever she could, 4 wheeler rides through the northern trails with Ken, her "partner in crime" and sometimes just sitting on her swing in the back yard so she could listen to the many birds she loved to feed. She was an avid gardener and loved planting, watching her babies grow and sharing the spoils that were preserved by her during harvest time. We will all miss her pickles!
Survivors include her companion, Kenneth Leger; son, Tony (Carrie) Gryniewski, Rosholt; daughter, Lor'ell (Joseph) Rademacher, Shawano; 7 grandchildren; brother, Christopher (Barbara) Glasel, Wittenberg; brothers and sisters -in-law, Susan Newton, Oregon, Randy(Brenda) Knudsen, Wausau, Polly (Gene) Hangartner, Clintonville, Zena Knudsen, Wausau, Mark (Donna) Knudsen, Antigo; 15 nieces and nephews, and her precious puppy Annabelle.
Besides her parents and husband, Tom, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Glasel and a brother Eugene Glasel.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
