Norman Shevy

Norman Shevy, 83, of Wausau passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the care of Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was married to the late Marlene Shevy for 55 years, and was a Korean War Veteran. He was affectionately known as "The Legend" by family and friends. Norman is survived by five of his children, Steve Shevy; Cindy (Wayne) Slagoski; Kim (Jim) Sether; Chris Weisenberger; Julie Shevy, five siblings, Allen Shevy; Lorraine Long; Eunice Van Caster; Delma Clark and Delmar Shevy, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents -Joseph and Anne, his wife Marlene, and his daughter Susan Kubisiak. A celebration of his life will be held at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
