Norman E. Lambrecht
75, 1103 S. 10th Street, Wausau, died Thursday December 30, 2004 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born June 22, 1929 in Wausau, son of the late Arthur and Elsie (Kurth) Lambrecht. On August 21, 1947 he married Gladys Andrews in Ironwood, Michigan. She survives.
Norman had been employed at Anderson Brothers and Johnson Granite Company for 43 years and had also been employed with the City of Wausau, Erickson Gas Station and Wausau Monument. Among his favorite things to do were camping, fishing and assisting his wife Gladys in crafting Christmas ornaments. He was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church, having attended school and being confirmed there.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Lambrecht, Wausau, his children, Norman F. (Ronda) Lambrecht, Waynesville, Missouri, Lynn (Michael) Levandoski, Mauston, Rodney Lambrecht, Glenns Ferry, Idaho, Jeffrey (Pamela) Lambrecht, Oceanside, Calif., 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Esther (Harold) Petri, Wausau, Elsie Sturm, Fifield, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Lambrecht and a sister, Lydia Lambrecht.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday January 3, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Steven Gjerde will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
