Norman R. Fisk 92, Wausau died Saturday, December 29, 2007 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. He was born February 22, 1915 in Chicago, son of the late Rudolph and Mary (Johnson) Fisk. On September 10, 1933 he married Evalyn A. McQueen in Evanston, Illinois. She preceded him in death on August 16, 2007. Norman worked in the maintenance department with the DuPage County Forest Preserve for many years until his retirement. He also owned and operated a grocery store in Wooddale, Illinois. Survivors include his two sons, Norman (Janice) Fisk, Wausau and James (Barbara) Fisk, Roselle, Illinois, six grandchildren, Sharon (Ryan) Marinier, Kimberly Fisk, Scott (Cat) Fisk, Kristine Fisk, Mark (Kay) Bieber and Cathy (Dan) Stubbe and 11 great grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Richard Fisk, one grandson, Keith Fisk and two brothers, Melvin and Robert Fisk. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2007 at Living Water Christian Fellowship Church, 215 E. Thomas Street, Wausau. The Rev. Norman Fisk will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
