Norman W. Bergmann

Norman W. Bergmann 90, town of Goodrich, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Colonial Center, Colby. He was born December 15, 1920 in the town of Goodrich, son of the late Henry and Elsie (Harmel) Bergmann. Norman farmed in the town of Goodrich and also logged in the town of Corning for many years. Survivors include one brother, Roland (Norma Jean) Bergmann, Medford and one sister, Carol (John) Zinkowich, Athens along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Herbert Bergmann and two sisters, Margaret Henkel and Elizabeth Hallberg and two infant brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Burial will be in the Athens Village Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Athens funeral home.
