Norma J. Dudash, 83, Wausau, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1931 in Presque Isle, Wis., daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Girsch) Smith. On January 20, 1951, she married Alfred "Al" D. Dudash in Wausau. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1998. She then married Donald A. Voigt on July 26, 2003 in Wausau. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2009.
Norma was employed as a General Manager for Wausau Mutual Insurance Company for 23 years until her retirement. For 25 years, she was a volunteer at Mount View Care Center, Wausau, and also volunteered with Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Among her favorite pastimes, she loved to read and watch television.
She was a member of the Shriners Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary, Wausau.
Survivors include, her son, Ronald (Mary) Dudash, Eau Claire; one granddaughter, Brooke (Adam) Spicer, Tallahassee, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Jack, Ben and Alyse Spicer; one sister, Ramona (Donald) Cannady, Tomahawk; one brother, Roy Smith, Wausau; and her caretaker and friend, Mary Albee, Wausau.
Besides her parents, and both husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Smith.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Wayne Drueck will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Grace United Church of Christ, Wausau, Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Covenant House.
