Nora M. Madden
94, 6001 Alderson Street, Schofield, died Monday February 7, 2005 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Schofield. She was born May 28, 1910 in the town of Texas, daughter of the late August and Bertha (Baumann) Neitzke.
On July 22, 1930, she married Andrew Madden. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1975.
She retired from the former St. Mary Hospital, Wausau, following thirty years in food service. Among her many interests, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing bingo.
Survivors include, seven children, Ruth (Herbert) Breske, Lake Tomahawk, Norman (Yvonne) Madden, Wausau, Delores "Toots" (Louie) Chack, Weston, Betty (Robert) Buska, Weston, Daniel (Rita) Madden, Schofield, Gary (Connie) Madden, Oconomowoc, and Connie (Paul) Spiegel, Wausau; two daughters in law, Connie Johnsen, Lake Tomahawk and Shirley Madden, Shawano; twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty-seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Adela Stolz, Wausau and Esther (Albert) Schlei, Wausau.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, Elmer, Earl and Clarence Madden; and many brothers and sisters.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2005 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin and Deacon Robert Anderson will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
