Nila L. Roesler
91, Wausau died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at North Central Health Care Center, Wausau.
She was born October 9, 1921 in Athens, daughter of the late George and Lillian (Marth) Hopperdietzel.
Nila was a beautician at Fulton Street Beauty Salon for many years, a legal assistant at Bachhuber Law Office and also worked at the YMCA all in Wausau. Some of her favorite pastimes included crocheting, bowling, swimming, gardening, tending to her flowers and doing craft projects for the Talent Shop. Nila also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino.
Survivors include her children, Donald Roesler, Wausau, Patricia (Vernon) Utecht, Irma and Gwen (Kim) Tapper, Mosinee, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her siblings, Muriel Berghammer, Wausau, Ardell (Chester) Knab, Montana, Gordon (Vivian) Hopperdietzel, South Dakota, Arlon (Jean) Hopperdietzel, Texas, Barbara (Tim) Dolley, Arizona and Emily (Ron) Brindle, California along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Alice Hambert, Elva Krombholz and Rose Marie Williams and one grandson Richard Allen Utecht.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Steven Gjerde will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau.
