Nathan “Nate” P. Kwick, 61, passed away June 11, 2025, unexpectedly at his home.
He was born July 27, 1963, in Antigo, son of Dorothy M. Fredrickson.
Nate was a dedicated construction worker and lover of the great outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, boating, and riding his motorcycle—always happiest when surrounded by nature. A sharp thinker and strategic mind, he enjoyed the quiet challenge of chess just as much as he loved the energy of a good gathering. Nate was a true "party animal" who brought light and laughter wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his significant other, Cindy Bornbach; children, Zach (Ashley) Kwick, Storm and Madison Kwick; grandchildren, Zeke and Summer; mother, Dorothy Fredrickson; siblings, Michael (Lynn) and Paul (Stacy); step-siblings, Laura, Sandra, Rebecca, Allen, John (Wendy); half-siblings, Jenifer (Shawn) and Jeffery (Charles); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad, James Fredrickson, close friend, Mark Robinson and many other friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 1:00pm until 6:00pm at Riverside Park, 100 Sherman St., Wausau.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
“Hey you guys, see you on the other side.”
