Nancy A. Stoltz

August 25, 1942 — February 10, 2017

Nancy A. Stoltz, 74, Wausau, died Friday February 10, 2017 at Cedar Creek Manor, Kronenwetter, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born August 25, 1942, in Wausau, daughter of the late Norbert and Agnes (Michlig) Seubert. She was a 1960 graduate of Newman High School where she met her sweetheart and life partner, Roger Stoltz. They were married August 4, 1962 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. Nancy was first and foremost a wonderful wife and mother. Cooking and baking were her specialty as well as gardening and canning. She was also an excellent seamstress and crafter. After her children were in school, she worked for 20 years with the Wausau School District, retiring as secretary to the assistant principal at Wausau West High School. The Stoltz family enjoyed many good times during the 44 years they spent at Campers Haven on Lake Nokomis. After her retirement, Nancy volunteered for many years at the Talent Shop. Survivors include her husband, Roger, four children, Cindy (Bruce) Olson, Wausau, Jeff Stoltz, Wausau, Tim (Stacy) Stoltz, Oconomowoc, Susan (John) Palecek, Merrill; nine grandchildren, Megan, Jennifer, Jessica, Jacob, Allison, Joshua, Lindsay, Nicholas and Kamryn; three brothers, Lester Seubert, Schofield, Allan (Sharon) Seubert, Marathon, Don (Jane) Seubert, Wausau and two sisters, Gail Dustin, Waukesha and Janet (Lyle) Morien, North Carolina. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 16, 2017 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Dan Thelen will preside. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Linda, Cathy and staff at Cedar Creek Manor, Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services and Dr. Kaupie for the support, care and friendship given to them during the time Nancy was in their care.
