Nancy J. Lindsley

Nancy J. Lindsley, 59, Wausau, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at her home. She was born February 10, 1957 in Wausau, daughter of the late Fredrick and Lorraine (Dahlke) Plautz. In addition to working as a claims adjuster, Nancy trained in both nursing & massage therapy & enjoyed caring for the elderly. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed walking, swimming, gardening, watching sports & spending time with friends. Survivors include her sons, Daniel (Moriah) Lindsley and Patrick (Stephanie) Lindsley; grandchildren, Sean and Chester Lindsley. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Jen Dahle will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Marathon County.
