Nancy L. Comley

Nancy L. Comley, 78, Wausau died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. She was born January 23, 1939 in Wabasha, Minnesota, daughter of the late Everett and Nettie (White) Glynn. On August 24, 1968 she married David Comley in Wabasha. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2002. Nancy was a long term employee of Madison Gas & Electric. She was affectionately known in Wausau as the "Card Lady" having worked several years stocking cards at local retailers and while doing so she made many friends. A favorite pastime that Nancy and David shared was crafting. Survivors include two sisters, Sally (Bill) Noll, Burnsville, MN and Janet Quinn, Park Rapids, MN and one brother, Dan (Caroline) Cliff, Dundas, MN as well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Joy Nelson Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wabasha, Minnesota. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
