Myrtle P. Reeves

Myrtle P. Reeves, 90, 2400 Marshall St., Wausau, died Monday, December 1, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born November 21, 1913 in Leopolis, daughter of the late Edwin and Bertha (Welsch) Voelz. Myrtle was a retired restaurant and school cook. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Earl) Bytell, Rib Mountain, Barbara (Bobby) Mixon, Arcadia, Fla.; two sons, Ronald (Judy) Reeves, Wausau, Gary (Ann) Reeves, Nettleton, Miss.; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and one sister, Lucille Lukas, West Allis. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Sylvia Wangard; and two brothers, Allen and Lester Voelz. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. James W. Primley will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
