Myrtle E. Lodholz
85, 1010 E. Wausau Ave., Wausau, died Sunday, February 6, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born April 25, 1919 in the town of Stettin, daughter of the late Carl & Alwina (Wilde) Artus. On June 5, 1943, she married Gilbert Lodholz at Rib Falls Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1988.
Myrtle was a homemaker. She loved talking to people and listening to polka music.
Survivors include two sisters, Esther Roy and Agnes (Alvin) Rusch both of Wausau; sister-in-law, Ruth Artus, Wausau; nieces & great nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence G. Artus.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Dennis W. Pegorsch will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the church.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the nurses & Doctors at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and the staff of Colonial Manor Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Wausau for the loving care given to her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau.
