Myrtle G. Bluhm
86, formerly of Wausau, died Sunday August 5, 2007 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
She was born December 29, 1920, in the town of Frankfort, daughter of the late William and Louise (Syring) Ballerstein. On January 14, 1939, she married Otto Bluhm in Wausau. He preceded her in death.
Along with her husband, they owned and operated Rib Mountain Box Company, was then employed by Marathon Rubber, later owned a traveling arcade in Tip Top Shows and last had been employed at Connor Forest Industries, retiring in 1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Eileen (Lloyd) Grande, Rib Mountain, Ivanette "Ivy" (Norm) Brunner, Merrill, one son, Gene O. (Judi) Bluhm, Wausau, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, three step great great grandchildren and one sister, Imgard Springer, Wausau.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taine Bluhm and one sister, Norma Ballerstein.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Weds. August 8, 2007 at Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue and again on Weds. from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
