Muffy (Ethel) Maas

Muffy Mae Maas, age 86, died peacefully Saturday December 1, 2012 at Marathon Assisted Living. Devoted wife of Walter Maas; Loving mother of Scott (Corey) Maas, Oakfield, Rob (Mary) Maas, Fond du Lac, Marcy (Gene) Matushak, Wausau, special friend and second daughter, Jeanne McGeoghgan, Wausaukee, further survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Maas, one brother and four sisters. Memorial services will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday December 4, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Rev. Gail Sowell will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the Marathon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
