Morris O. "Hank" Roberts

Morris O. “Hank” Roberts, 87, Wausau, died Friday March 4, 2022 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born June 22, 1934, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, son of the late Morris and Isabella (Sahanatien) Roberts.  On August 17, 1957 he married Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Dimmer in Toronto.  She preceded him in death.

Morris had been employed in the packaging industry retiring from Sonoco.  He enjoyed fishing, model trains and watching the Packers

Survivors include four children, Wayne (Karen) Roberts, Wausau, Cathy (Victor) Diaz, California, William (Terrie) Roberts, Plover, Amy (John) Stephens, Weston; grandchildren, Mitchell, McKenzie, Madeline, Erin, Jessica, Matthew, Danielle, Anthony, Amanda, Ariel, Brandon, Logan.;  9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bella Roberts, Ronald (Valerie) Roberts, William Roberts.

Besides his parents and wife, Morris was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria and Rosie, two brothers, Huey and Lloyd.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 10, 2022 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.  Rev. Joseph Albert will officiate.  Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
