Monica P. Rogalla

Monica P. Rogalla 96, Wausau, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born July 6, 1913 in Plover, daughter of the late Anton and Rosalie (Kantowski) Worzalla. On August 25, 1931, she married Albert Rogalla at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1993. Monica was a member of the St. Rita Circle at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The majority of her life was dedicated to raising and caring for her son, Gene. Survivors include, one son, Gerald Rogalla, Greenfield, Wis.; one daughter, JoAnne (Don) Rubow, Ladysmith, Wis.; six grandchildren, Douglas (Theresa) Rogalla, Kendall, Wis., Mary (Rick) Grubanowitch, St. Francis, Wis., Kris (Rob) Kelm, Delafield, Wis., Michael Rogalla, Oak Creek, Wis., Cheri Patt, North Fond du Lac , Wis. and Pam (Larry) Szura, Bloomer, Wis.; 14 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; two sisters, her twin, Martha Koy, Wausau and Victoria Walter, Downey, Cal. and one half sister, Marion Corzalla, Milwaukee. Besides her parents and husband, Albert, she was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Rogalla; one daughter-in-law, Dawn Rogalla; and thirteen siblings. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Gerald Pehler O.F.M. Cap. will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
