Mitchell J. Landwehr

Mitchell J. Landwehr 59, Wausau, took the hand of the Lord on April 1, 2010. He was born January 4, 1951, in Gary, Indiana, son of the late Lawrence and Juliane (Mueller) Landwehr. Mitchell had been employed as an automobile mechanic and previously worked in the home construction trade. He was an avid vegetable gardener, enjoyed small engine repair and traveling out West to Wyoming and Montana where he resided for many years. Survivors include his significant other, Paula Lentz, Wausau, children, Scott (Christy) Landwehr, Powell, Wyo., Ashley Landwehr and Dustin Landwehr, both of Wausau, Brandi Craven and Ron, Ryegate, Mont., Cyrus Craven and Heather, Missoula, Mont., nine grandchildren, siblings, Larry (Mary) Landwehr, Wausau, Sonya Landwehr, Edgar, Heidi (Scott) Borchardt, Edgar, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends as well as Paula's parents, William and Betty Blair, Weston. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jason and one daughter, Jenni. Private family services will be held. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
