Milton J. Bush, 72, 6300 Birch Street Schofield, died Wednesday January 2, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services, Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Milton was born July 13, 1929, in Pierre, SD, son of the late Leslie and Loretta (Schultz) Bush. He was a commercial industrial painter and painted many bridges, water towers and schools. He was a member of Milwaukee Painters Local No. 781. Milton was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid reader and enjoyed his garden. He worked with his hands and took on many jobs and remodeling projects. Survivors include his daughters Susan L. (Richard) Holster, Wausau, Ann E. Bush, Schofield; a son John L. (Diana) Bush, Oak Creek, their mother Diane Bland, Schofield; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a brother Laverne (Wilhelmina) Bush, Omaha, NE. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday January 4, 2002, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Entombment will be in the Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
