Mildred "Mickey" Wadinski
81, Wausau, died Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born October 29, 1930 in Rhinelander, daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Henry) Mykleby. On April 30, 1955, she married James Wadinski Sr. at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. He survives.
Mickey worked at J.C. Penny's and the former Wausau Insurance Company. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed playing cards, reading, and going up North to her family homestead in Star Lake. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, James Wadinski Sr., Wausau, her children, James (Carla) Wadinski Jr., Wausau and Michael Wadinski, Wausau, two grandchildren, James (Shannon) Wadinski III and Danielle Wadinski, one great grandson, Lelynd Hassberg, one brother James (Mary Jane) Mykleby, Weston and one sister, Phyllis Mykleby, Burgaw, North Carolina.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Meredyth Kelsey and June Kranz.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 903 Third Street, Wausau. Rev. Jerry Morris will officiate.
