Mike Yang

Michel "Mike" Yang, age 34, Wausau, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at his home surrounded by family after his second courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 5, 1979 in Cholet, France son of Chulao and Chi (Vang) Yang. On February 3, 2003 he married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, in Wausau. She survives. Mike graduated Cum Laude from Upper Iowa State University with a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Management. He enjoyed playing volleyball, relaxing with friends and was an avid Ohio State and Green Bay Packers fan. Mike also volunteered at both the Relay for Life and the Jubilee House. Survivors include his wife, Jessica, Wausau; daughter, Mia, Wausau; son (dog), Tucker, Wausau; his parents, Chulao and Chi Yang, Wausau; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Laura Reinhard, Wausau; seven brothers and six sisters, Ya, Mee, Paj Luj, Ntsum, Pa, Blong, Bi, Beu, Pao, Mayly, Francois, Misay and Kazoua, in the United States and France. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
