Michele Strike-Shopinski

Michele Strike-Shopinski, age 53, Wausau, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born October 26, 1960 in Stevens Point, daughter of Robert and Shirley (Meshak) Strike. On August 25, 1988 she married Mark Shopinski in Wausau. He survives. Michele worked as a graphic designer at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, previous to that she worked for 17 years at Wausau Insurance Company. She enjoyed arts, crafts, gardening and especially spending time with her children. Survivors include her husband, Mark, Wausau; daughters, Kate and Grace Shopinski, Wausau; parents, Robert and Shirley Strike, Plover; siblings, Laurie (Dave) Warner, Stevens Point, Christopher (Sharon) Strike, Baraboo, and Amy (David) Gaustad, DeForest; many other aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
