Michael J. Treptow

Michael J. Treptow 56, 315 W. Wausau Ave., Wausau, died Thursday November 21, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born July 30, 1946 in Wausau, son of Mark Treptow, Wausau and the late Florence (Levendoski) Treptow. Michael had been employed as a catering manager for the University of San Diego. He was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the Navy aboard the USS Roosevelt. Survivors include his father, Mark Treptow, Wausau, two sisters, Carol (Patrick) Mages, Mephis, Tenn., and son, Matthew Mages; Mary Lavin, Wausau and daughter, Megan Lavin; one brother, Dennis (Dianne) Treptow, Anoka, Minn., son, Alex Treptow and daughter, Jacqueline (Kevin) Williams. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Monday November 25, 2002 at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
