Michael “Mike” Olejniczak, 80, of Rib Mountain, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Mike was born in Wausau to Stanley and Helen Olejniczak. In 1969, he married his wife, JoAnn.
Mike was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in Okinawa, Japan, the South Pacific Fiji Islands, and was stationed at the Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. He worked for United Health Care Services as a Print Operations Supervisor until his retirement.
In his younger years, Mike enjoyed hunting, golfing, and playing softball.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn; three children, Carla, Kevan, and Keith; two grandchildren, Ben and Anna; six siblings, Stanley (Lorraine), Jean, Richard, Janice, Mary, and Virginia; one sister-in-law, Deanna; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Visitation will take place that morning from 9:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park with full military honors conducted by the American Legion Post No. 10, Wausau.
