Michael T. Mclaughlin

Michael T. McLaughlin 76, Wausau, died Weds. June 25, 2003 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. He was born August 7, 1926 in New London, son of the late Michael and Mary (Flanagan) McLaughlin. On September 2, 1950 he married Grace M. Kort in Clintonville. She preceded him in death March 26, 1978. For 35 years, Michael had been employed with the former Midwest Breeders, Shawano, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marines. Survivors include four children, Michael (Suzanne) McLaughlin, Evanston, Ill., Colleen (Richard) Bukowski, Weston, Dennis (Jacqueline) McLaughlin, Wausau, Maureen (Thomas) Meyer, Madison, six grandchildren, Michael (Bipasha), Bryan & Katharine Bukowski, David, Shannon & Sean McLaughlin; two step-grandchildren, Kaila and Benjamin Meyer; three sisters, Grace McLaughlin and Ann Foy, both of New London and Helen McLaughlin, Appleton. Besides his wife and parents, Michael was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday June 28, 2003 at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Marywood Convalescent Center.
