Michael S. Curley, 47, Wausau, died Monday Dec. 23, 2002, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
Michael was born in Oakdale California July 1st, 1955. He graduated in 1973 from Thomas Downey High School in Modesto California. At the age of 21, Michael moved to Wausau. He was employed at Marth Wood Shavings in Marathon.
Michael enjoyed baseball, vegetable gardening, music, estate sales, restoring antique furniture, and trucks and classic cars. He was an avid
Dale Earnhardt fan and also enjoyed traveling with his wife to visit historical sites and points of interest. Michael generously gave of his time and talent to help others. He will be
greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Jamie (Kapinsky)Curley, Wausau; his parents, Ed & Mary Curley, Loretto, Tenn.; one daughter, Sheila (John) Quinette, Denver, Colo.; one granddaughter Hailey Quinette; two brothers, Rick (Donna) Curley,
Milton Wis. and Brian (Lori) Curley, Madison Wis. Two nephews, Ryan & Bryce Curley, and one niece, Chelsea Curley, Milton Wis. Grandmother, Lucille
Fleming, Waterford, Calif. Parents-in-law Steve & Florence Kapinsky, Wausau.
Services will be at Noon Saturday Dec. 28, 2002 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Visitation will be from 10a.m. Saturday until the time of the services all at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
