Michael J. Brodjieski, 59, Wausau, died Sunday December 6, 2015, cared for by his family, which enabled him to pass in peace, at home, where he wanted to be.
He was born March 14, 1956, in Wausau, son of the late Felix and Joanne (Martin) Brodjieski.
Mike's entire career was spent working with granite. For 22 years he worked for Lake Wausau Granite Co., later with Anderson Brothers & Johnson and also contracting with G. Reinke & Company, Oshkosh. His workmanship with granite always encompassed high standards of precision and meticulous attention to detail. Prior to his recent retirement, Mike had been co-owner of Pro-Lettering Service with Charlie Searl for over 15 years.
Survivors include four children, Daniel (Lisa) Brodjieski, Annapolis, Maryland, Jennifer (Brian) Seehafer, Weston, Stephani (fiancAC., Nemo Gehred-O'Connell) Brodjieski, Madison, Seth Brodjieski, Wausau, four grandchildren, Lily & Norah Brodjieski and Parker & Ethan Seehafer, seven siblings, Roger (Donna) Brodjieski, Weston, Jim (Barb) Brodjieski, Wausau, Mary (Al) Hoppe, Wausau, Ken (Becky) Brodjieski, Wausau, Nancy (Jim) Reynolds, Wausau, Alan (Carol) Brodjieski, Weston, Judy (Diane "Bubble Gum")Brodjieski, New Berlin, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece and god-daughter, Katie Brodjieski.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday December 10, 2015 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
