Merle A. Trierweiler

Merle A. "Mrs. T" Trierweiler 83, formerly of 727 Ridgeland, Avenue, Schofield, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born September 19, 1921 in Wausau, daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Chellis) Theisen. For over 31 years, Merle was a bookkeeper at Newman High School, Wausau. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, reading, crocheting, and walks along the seashore. Above all things, Merle cherished the times she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Vicki Jeanne Bachmann, Wilton, New York, Mary Sue (Albert) Filtz, Schofield, Mike (Joyce) Trierweiler, Rothschild, one niece, Barbara Preisig, Wausau, five grandchildren, Benjamin Douglas Willig, San Diego, Emma Gwendlyn Bachmann, Big Indian, New York, Christopher Michael Filtz, Mosinee, Mary Merle Trierweiler, Rothschild and Megan Marie Trierweiler, Rothschild. Besides her parents, Merle was preceded in death by, one daughter, Janice Bachmann, four brothers and one sister, Raymond Theisen, Ralph John Theisen, Ronald Theisen, John Theisen and Mary Jane Haupt. The funeral mass will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
