Mercedes Raseni

Mercedes Raseni 92, 1010 East Wausau Avenue, Wausau died Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. Mercedes was born October 30, 1909 in Italy, daughter of the late Antonio and Caterina (Peteani) Bilucaglia. She married Aldo Raseni May 22, 1932 in Trieste, Italy. He preceded her in death March 20, 1983. Mercedes was employed as a seamstress and enjoyed cooking, handiwork and reading. Survivors include two daughters, GiGi (Richard) Shukes, Butternut and Alda (Frank "Bud") Kubat, Mount Prospect, Illinois, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday November 12, 2001 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. John Parr will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
