Mayme Rozmenoski

Mayme Rozmenoski, 97, Wausau, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Benedictine Living Community, Wausau. She was born November 4, 1917 in the town of Reid, daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Trzebiatowski) Lewandowski. On September 16, 1939 she married Ernest Rozmenoski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1995. Mayme was a wonderful mother and baker. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping and gardening, especially flowers. In the past she was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent and was past president of the rosary society. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Essex, Wausau and Carol (Roger) Ewan, Medford; daughter-in-law, Mary Peters; grandchildren, Greg (Sara) Essex, Laura (Paul) Buss, Sara (Betsy Mulcahy) Essex, Amy (Mike Ortengren) Ahles, Keith (Vicki) Ahles and Erin (John) Ciseski, Sierra, Wyatt, Waylan and Holden, Rozmenoski; great-grandchildren, Alissa, Malcolm, Miles, Madison, Caleb, Kayla, Zachary, Cayden, Anakeli, Emileigh, Reese, Bailey, Lucas, Ben, Curtis and Dillon; great great-grandchildren, Amelia and Edith; siblings, Polly Rolnicki and Del Gabrielski. Besides her parents and husband Ernest, she was preceded in death by a son, Ernie Jr., sons-in-law, Peter Ahles and Jack Essex, siblings, Theresa, Irene, Anna, Esther, Virginia, Edmund, Henry and Florian. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. James Schaeffer will preside. Friends may call Monday from Noon until the time of services all at the church. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Benedictine Living Community for the care that was provided to Mayme over the last six years.
