Mavis A. Meurett

Mavis A. Meurett 61, 1615 Northwestern Avenue, Wausau, died Saturday June 22, 2002 at her home. For the past 26 years, Mavis had been employed at the Wausau Club as a specialty cook. Survivors include her husband, LaVern 'Curley' Meurett, Wausau, a daughter, Laurie Meurett, Minneapolis, Minn., two sons, Dean (Connie) Meurett, Weston and Dan (Lori) Meurett, Stevens Point, six grandchildren and one sister, Rozella (Don) Palesh, Wausau. Services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, town of Easton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
