Mary Elizabeth Waack

Mary Elizabeth Waack 71, Schofield, died Friday, December 3, 2010 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Hospice House, Wausau. She was born May 3, 1939 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late William and Pauline (Cagala) Orth. On May 14, 1960 she married Richard Waack Sr. in Milwaukee. He survives. Mary was a homemaker and member of DAR, Antique Study Club, Genealogy Society and the Slovak Society. Survivors include her husband, Richard Sr., Schofield; children, Richard (Shelia) Waack Jr., Madison, Paula Moser, Middleton and Darryl Waack, Kronenwetter; grandchildren, Maeve, Fergus, Emile, Zachary, Jessa and Macey, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Janusz Kowalski will preside. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice House, Wausau or the Humane Society of Marathon County, Wausau.
