Mary Lechelt Rucinski went to be with her Lord after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born January 20, 1955 in Merrill, daughter of William and Florence (Torzewski) Lechelt. Mary attended Merrill public schools and graduated from MATC with a Dental Hygenist Degree in 1978. On May 12, 1984 she married her best friend and the love of her life, Scott T. Rucinski. Mary recently retired from Dental Associates of Cedar Creek where she worked for 17 years.
Mary had a way of touching peoples lives, she loved life, travel, music, her animals and master gardening. One of Mary's greatest gifts was her generosity and true caring for other people around her. Mary will be dearly missed, but never forgotten by many people. Mary and Scott were not blessed with children of their own, but were godparents to several children.
Survivors include her husband, Scott, her parents, Bill and Flo., a brother, Bob (Ann) Lechelt and niece Molly of Madison.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 14, 2002 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Brice will preside. Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
