Mary J. Rogn
81, formerly of Wausau, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King.
She was born January 22, 1926, daughter of the late Calvin and Lillian (Tesch) Tiffany. On November 4, 1947 she married William Rogn at the former St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death February 26, 1992.
Mary worked for the Eagles Club as a cook. She enjoyed playing scrabble and playing cards, especially sheepshead and smear.
Survivors include her siblings, Ervin (Althea) Tiffany, Tomahawk, Carla (Richard) Bogert, Mass., June Gardisky, Gurney, Ill. and Calvin (Lydia) Dixon, Newman, Calif.; brothers-in-law, Otis Hoskin, Ben Dahn, both of Port Huron, Mich. and Wilbur Wiersema, Fulton, Ill.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters.
The funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at the Main Chapel in the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. Sister Cathy Wottreng will officiate. Burial will be in Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Friends may call Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services all at the Wisconsin Veterans Home Chapel.
