Mary Lou Pecha

Mary Lou Pecha 72, Wausau, died Monday August 7, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born January 29, 1934, in Langlade County, daughter of the late Eric and Eleanor (Spaulding) Erickson. On February 11, 1956, she married David Pecha in Mattoon. For many years, Mary Lou had been employed at the former Don Fitzgerald Cleaners and more recently with Classic Cleaners as a seamstress. Family time was precious to Mary Lou, especially that which was spent with her grandchildren. They will fondly remember her attendance at their sporting events and the favorite hot dish only she could make. She also enjoyed Bingo and an occasional trip to the casino. Survivors include her husband, David Pecha, Wausau, three children, Debbie (Ronald) Kuehnhold, Stratford, Bruce (Anne) Pecha, Weston, Paula (Jeff) Budzynski, Wausau, grandchildren, Adam (Karla), Katie & Nancy Kuehnhold; Zachary & Lucas Pecha and Lilyana Budzynski, great grandchildren, Michael, Makenzie and Ahlexis, siblings, Harold Erickson, Colo., Kenneth (Marlene) Erickson, Crandon, Cathy (David) Niedbalski, Appleton, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Besides her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 10, 2006 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Weds. From 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, and again on Thursday from 10 am until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Pallbearers for the service will be Ronald Kuehnhold, Adam Kuehnhold, Jeff Budzynski, Kenneth Erickson, David Niedbalski and Ron Pecha. The family would like to extend their special thanks to George in Dialysis, the Chaplains and the staff in the MSICU Department at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for the special care given to Mary Lou.
